During her 10 years as a floral designer, Anthorea has personally experienced the changing seasons of flowers and the natural cycle of life and death. Unlike other art forms that can last indefinitely, fresh flower arrangements do not have a long lifespan, and dried & preserved flowers are not easy to preserve in Hong Kong’s humid climate. This inspired her to use the technique of pressed flowers & epoxy resin/wax to preserve the natural beauty, capturing a fleeting moment in time for us to appreciate and cherish for years.
